Mechanical Side Resetting Probes User guide
For longer life of the probe and for precise resetting, use a VELDON WITH COLLAR HEAD.
When the spindle runs at 300-600 rpm, the mandrel wobbles.
The probe touches the workpiece.
The probe is approached with a 1% advance from the handwheel until it turns straight.
The approximation is continued until the mandrel starts to wobble again.
When the wobble starts again, the reset process is completed.
